A very simple idea of pimping an ordinary baked salmon. Marinate the salmon and then bake!
Marinade ingredients (for 2 salmon fillets)
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- Half of lemon, squeezed for juice
- 2 small bird’s eye chillies, chopped
- 1 tbsp over of olive oil
- 1 tsp of course sea salt
- Black pepper to taste
Preparation Steps
- Mix the above ingredients in a bowl, set aside.
- Wash and then pat dry the fish fillets. Set the fillets on a cling film, then pour the marinade over the fillets. Wrap the fillets up with the cling film and sit them in the fridge for an hour at least.
- After that, bake the fish in a foil parcel for 15 – 18 mins at 190°C. Expose the fillets in the last 5 minutes of baking time to have a brown top. Simple and piquant baked salmon done!

Serve the fish with a side salad made of fresh tomatoes drizzled with honey mustard dressing, topped off with chopped scallions. Refreshing!
