Ireland: Cliffs of Moher, Galway

West of Ireland was the last stop of sight seeing for our visitors. We joined a tour bus (galwaytourcompany.com) at a good rate (€15 pp) after negotiation with the person in charge as there were 5 five of us. So, all good!

We made 16 stops in total for this trip. The tour guide is  jolly and the funniest one we met so far. He is 78! And still full of energy and vibe, so, we were all entertained to a lot of stories and histories that make the trip really an enjoyable one.

Main scenes would be Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Let’s look  at some snap shots below.

  • At Burren, this would be the cemetery equivalence and dates all the way back to ice age.

  • Cliffs of Moher viewed on a foggy afternoon looking over Atlantic ocean.

  • Hag’s head (the small triangular structure jotting out at the tip) located opposite the cliffs. O’Briens tower (cylindrical building) on top of the cliff.

I hope the pictures on Ireland would interest, at least have your curiosity pique to see how beautiful Ireland is.

yeah, you should tour around the west and midland (though some say there’s nothing) near summer time before flying out to Mediterranean :) it’s rewarding when it’s ..well..sunny.
