Sambal Asparagus & Prawns

Ingredients

  • a bunch of asparagus
  • 10 prawns, peeled and deveined clean
  • 3 tbsp of sambal oelek or homemade sambal here, here andhere
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

Preparation

  1. Stir fry garlic in 2 tbsp of hot oil in a shallow pan until fragrant, toss in prawns to cook until firm.
  2. Add in sambal to stir in for a minute.
  3. Followed by asparagus to mix in evenly with the sambal sauce.
  4. When the asparagus is soft and crunchy, dish it up.

Perfect with a bowl of boiled Jasmine rice.
