Mahal at Far East Plaza (SG)

Restaurant: Mumtaz Mahal North Indian

Location: Level 5 – 22/23, Far East Plaza Shopping Centre

Type: Northern India

Date of visit: 11 Oct 2009

We patronised this restaurant under the recommendation of an Indian colleague a year ago. And we were really glad we tried, for the third time here. Here is a pictorial account of the dishes we enjoyed through.

Portions were smallish but rich, thus I recommend one portion for each person, and it would be sufficient.

Poppadum with a set of four condiments. Served prior to the meals.

Lamb Vindaloo $16.

Chicken Tikka $14.

Mango Lassi $5.50.

Garlic Naan Bread $3 each.

Spinach & Paneer $12. (Must try)

All dishes tasted really good, and the meat in the dishes was succulent. The restaurant is not crowded at most times, and the customer base is mostly famillies. Give it a try if you want a good authentic North Indian cuisine.
