Caffe Pralet (SG)

The facade of the culinary school and the cafe attached to it.

Located at Tiong Bahru, within walking distance from my residence.

Now, I have another cake shop for my weekly sweet tooth indulgence.

You can see the love of Chef Judy from the writing outside and inside the cafe.

Capuccino S$4.50

The website of Creative Culinaire which is a cooking school has menu listing on their own cafe as well.

Don’ bother with the menu written there as pricing and all are all outdated. That’s beside the point.

On one fine Sat, we dropped by around late afternoon for tea time.

Ordered a cup of cappuccino S$4.50 to go with the following cakes.

Green Tea Cake S$4.30

Personally, I do no like the many layers of thick & dense icing, on the cloying side.
Cake sponges came with nice matcha tastes and light.
There were also chocolate crunchy bits in there for texture.

I prefer Sun Moulin and Bonheur Patisserie versions anytime.

House Signature Pralet Cake S$4.90

Nutty praline flavour layers paired with the chocolate sponges.
Topped with decadent chocolatey icing and chocolate crunchy balls in between.

Yes, have to agree with other reviews that this cake is very nice indeed.

I also saw Mango Macadamia cake and other interesting flavours too.

For the reasonable pricing and clean quiet interior here, I will be back!
