Old Hong Kong Tea House (SG)

Fried Minced Shrimp Beancurd Roll SGD4.50++

The shrimp beancurd roll was made fresh, came to us piping hot. Filling was quite bouncy, just a little under seasoned.

This is another eatery that we passed by countless times and only decided to stop by to check it out one lazy Sat afternoon.

We each had Cold Milk Tea and Cold Coffee & Tea Mixture, SGD2.80++

They serve wide array of Dim Sum items and also roast meat too.

Rost Duck Rice with Plum Sauce SGD6++

Well, the presentation wasn’t appetising for sure.
Roast duck slices were  tender and flavourful at the least and it came with a super sweet plum sauce condiment.

XO Stir Fried Carrot Cake SGD5++

The carrot cake chunks were stir fried fresh. A little under seasoned, faint XO sauce taste.
An ok dish overall.
However, don’t think I will be back.
Address: 86 East Coast Road, #01-09/10 Katong Village (24 hours)

  1. old hong kong tea house I’ve been there last year, there no 10% service charge, so there are no service as eating in a food court, but in your post price follow ++ the mean is 10% 7% ? how is the service now? but in your picture I can read this restaurant still worst .

  2. Ya, they charge 10% and 7% onto the food prices. POSB card holders have 10% luckily, food wasn’t terrible, so so…
