I made sure I stop by this cake shop in Malacca to savour the famous mille crepe that’s hard to find in Singapore.
Apparently, only one mille crepe speciality shop in Singapore, starting off at SGD6.50 per slice.
No matter how stuffed the morning after dim sum we were, we were determined to track down 2nd branch of Nadeje which is situated at Dataran Pahlawan shopping centre in Melaka’s city centre.
From reading blogs introducing Nadeje Mille Crepe,
I got to know that the price started off as reasonable as RM6.50 and hiked up toRM9 (correct at the posting time)
The soft layers of crepe intertwined with thin layers of creamy mascarpone, the cheese milkiness countered off with bitter coffee spread.
It was delightful.
I love cream cheese.
I thought the tart fruity jam spread between the cream cheese and crepe layers did the wonder to offset the otherwise cloying feel.
I only hope to try more flavours here like Chocolate, Praline, Caramel and etc.
A worthwhile visit.
