Table 66 (SG)

 Restaurant Week in Singapore just kicked off this Monday (10-Oct).

Initially, I couldn’t get any booking at the restaurant on my list, just the week before I managed to get the 6.30pm session at Table 66.

foie gras - appetiser

There were two options for appetiser and main course each.

So, we had one of each for starting off the dinner.

Foie gras was well seared, the soft boiled egg, mushroomy jus and crunchy toast were so comforting!

prawn cocktail - appetiser

The prawn cocktail was light & refreshing, big juicy poached prawns.

There was the flat white noodle, cooked al dente and dressed in sweet & sour dressing to boot.

wagyu steak - main course

Choices for main course was Wagyu steak and catch of the day (saba – mackerel).

So, it was a no brainer. Both of us went for Wagyu.

I had medium well and bebe had medium cooked.

The red wine & mushroom jus was so flavourful.

Edamame beans, crispy potatoes and a little carrot cubes to accompany.

coffee cake for dessert

 No choice for dessert and I have no complain about that.

The coffee sponges, coffee cream layer with crunchy praline in between was a sweet note to end the dinner.

I would be interested to check out their new location with new menu in time to come.

SGD 35++ per person for 3-course dinner here during Restaurant Week.
