This cafe was buzzing when we walked in on a Thurs evening.
We took the available table nearest to the entrance and it was still very well protected from the noise and preying eyes.
The recipe cards on the table was a perfect waiting time killer, the cards detailed what make up some of the dishes offered by Ben’s menu.
Buffalo wings is a must-order in our dining tradition.
Seeing this on the starter section couldn’t make us any happier.
Love these classic buffalo wings, done properly with a touch of home.
Duck confit at this price? Sure it wasn’t whole duck, I’ll take it.
The aglio olio style spaghetti was flavourful and cooked a little pass al-dente,
and the sun dried tomato shreddings provided the needed tang to cut through the richness of the shredded cured duck.
He said they serve pasta like a mum would serve her kid in the kitchen.
Huge portion, contained in a large pasta bowl. So homey.
Beef bacons in abundance together with mushroom chunks. Savoury cream sauce and Parmesan shavings atop.
I’m definitely keen to try other dishes of theirs, perhaps at another branch too.
