Apart from their renowned and delicious French pastries.
This trip onward, I decided not to visit them anymore as these dishes were disappointing compared to the last visits.
Carbonara was alright, portion was reduced, and sadly it wasn’t seasoned at all.
The portion was actually puny (think of the normal palm size rice bowl), that small.
Chicken stock tasted decent, not too thin, about 4 chunks of chicken dark meat in there.
It cost about S$35 for two on these puny portions of dinner, this was somehow like buying a lesson.
With the many upcoming budget and delicious Western restaurants / stalls coming up (like Saveur, Purvis Street),
I will avoid chain store as such like a plague.
