Pho Hoa (SG)

Pho with beef brisket and beef balls (Regular) – S$12.95++

I only started venturing in Vietnamese restaurant /stalls very recently, for no reason really.

So, I was glad to know from TravellingHungryBoy that there’s a pho specialty chain store in Singapore, originates from US actually.

I loathe the so-called beef noodle soup with msg loaded soup base.

Fortunately, Pho Hoa lives up to its specialty item. Robust beef soup, served with lots of fresh condiments (see below). The al dente thin rice noodles were in abundance. Love the beef balls, the thinly sliced beef brisket was on the slightly chewy side.

a pair of fried spring roll at S$5.25++

The fish sauce dip along with the spring rolls was light and addictive.

Spring rolls were alright, nothing spectacular.

There were only two starter items available on the menu, so we ordered them by default.

This shop was hidden away from the restaurant hub at the top of Suntec Mall, towards the end, nearer to the kids & mum shops. Don’t confuse it with Pho House.

This steamy hot bowl of Pho would definitely hit the spot during these rainy days.
