Au Chocolat (SG)

Happy December!

Have you got your last month of 2012 planned out before marching into 2013, or rather, have you started on 2013 resolutions?

Love the Eiffel towel painting

This year marked a milestone in my life.

I will leave the details to another entry.

The huge macarons of various flavours, S$7 each

In November, I brought parents onto some sight seeing around town.

We covered Singapore Flyer and Gardens by The Bay… in retrospect, these two scenes are better explored during dawn time.

In between the two spots, we dropped by Marina Bay Sands mall area for some refreshments.

Lovely cakes!

We ordered only frozen drinks to cool off, didn’t get to explore the savouries.

The sliced cakes and also various cup cakes!

Parent had their Mango Smoothie S$12++, barely sweetened, and more like a ice-blended mango drink as it was very icy.

Cute coaster, ain’t it?

Invigorating kalamansi meringue tart S$7

The tangy kalamansi curd was very well accompanied by the massive pile of sweet meringue atop.

Well made tart shell to boot.

Frozen Chocolate with whipped cream S$12++

I saw Frozen Chocolate being recommended on some blogs.

Being the perfect heat dampener, we ordered one to share.

It was an alright chocolate crushed ice topped with whipped cream and chocolate flakes.

I was hoping it would be fudgy and rich yet frozen…

Pricing here is a little bit excessive, but granted for its location at MBS.

I might return just to try out their Egg Benedicts infused with chocolate at red wine, priced at S$22++.
