Started off with a bowl of seafood dumpling soup S$8.80++, so robust…

This is my third visit back.

I thought here is a good place to introduce the classic dim sum items tweaked with some foreign ingredients to my parents who are in Singapore for a short visit.

They were impressed with the unusual and yet delicious dim sum offerings…phew!

Chicken truffle pies in petit sizes

The very flaky and buttery pastry was very comforting.

Fried prawn & mango rolls

Fried prawn & mango rolls

We always had to order the fried prawn and mango rolls.

First time round, I was pleasantly suprised by the citrusy mayonnaise enveloped within.

It complimented the bouncy prawn and sweet mango cubes so well.

XO Stir Fried Carrot Cake

XO Stir Fried Carrot Cake

I am a carrot cake lover.

Be it the local version in black or white versions, I love the Hong Kong chunky version tossed in fragrant XO sauce.

Charred on the outside, soft inside. Full of radish taste.

Steamed rice rolls with scallops & mushrooms

Steamed rice rolls (cheong fun) with scallops & mushrooms

This combination worked neutrally with the normal cheong fun seasoning, I guess the classic bouncy prawn filling was still the best.

Paradise group's famous molten custard bun

The salted egg yolk concoction Paradise group has is just as good.

Siew Mai on skewer

Second visit, we also had this smoky grilled siew mai (meat dumpling).

Juicy filling too.

Dessert - Sour plum with aloe chunks and lemongrass jelly cubes

Dessert – Sour plum with aloe chunks and lemongrass jelly cubes SGD6.80++

This is a very refreshing drink to wash down the heavy dim sum items.

Fried durian ice-cream S$8.80++

Fried durian ice-cream SGD8.80++

This was the very first time we tried our their desserts here.

The durian ice-cream was still rock frozen, so the pungent durian smell was so weak that it stayed in your mouth.

The mango puree helped to cut the fried batter, tasted heavy on the coconut oil to me.

The within durian paste and very frozen durian ice-cream
