Saint Marc Cafe (SG)

Little Fuji S$6.30

After Tsujiri visit, it’s only apt to visit another Japan originated cafe.

Nana’s Green Tea is the next to visit.

Anyways, Saint Marc Cafe is a little different, as you could sense from the name – the twang of French bakery.

Little Fuji was a pretty and also tasty dessert innovation.
Soft serve vanilla scoop atop a flaky and buttery croissant-like pastry, drizzled with their prevalent caramel sauce.

Ingredients were ordinary but each was well textured and yummy.

Their signature chocolate croissant S$2.40

I took away their signature Chococro (chocolate croissant) for next day’s breakfast, after toasting, the crispiness of the outer layer was lost.

However, the utter butter fragrance and indulging molten chocolate bits inside still tasted like a victorious breakfast to me.

This is a chocolate palmier S$2.60

This heart shaped tasted exactly like the straight croissant above.

Come to think of it, this is one of the perfect inexpensive yet thoughtful Valentine gift to present in the morning – it’s tomorrow!

Go grab it!

~ Revisited on 30-April-2013 ~

Matcha (small) S$5.80

The deep dark green atop was the intense matcha milk froth, with a tinge of bitterness.

As the foam was consumed, the layer beneath was just mainly milk and became pastel green.

Matcha climax at first, then my heart sank with the disintegrating matcha-ness.
