Eggs Benny @ Blackbird Cafe (SG)

Eggs Benny w/Portabello Mushroom S$13++

After visiting Singapore museum open house (see snap shots below), we were chancing upon the nearby cafe for a cuppa and it was open!

As the first meal of the day, it was only apt to order this brunch classic.

The only thing I liked about it was the very toasty English muffin, too little Hollandaise and small sized poached eggs.

The advantage – you get to choose between mushroom, ham or bacon for the egg benny.

And a good cappuccino to go along with S$5.50++

As usual, ordered a cappuccino here to perk up the sleepy afternoon.

~Revisited in Jan-2014~

The dessert price has gone up to S$9++; Less options under bites which also meant cheaper price tags. Tiramisu is now available in bigger jar anyhow and still tasted as good – just a little too sweet to my liking.

Before that, we visited Singapore Philatelic Museum and Singapore National Museum.

Have a look!

I highly recommend this cafe for your pit stop if you’re visiting the museum hub, otherwise Soho Coffee is also another good option.
