Picked up a new bicycle. So back into the weekly cycling trip.
From the east to town, back and forth, my weekend mode of transport that is.
A pit stop was naturally called for.
Great to have this cozy cafe met on the way back and forth.
So, we sat in for coffee and food (so far only once).
Home cured bacon was not smoky, overall dish lacked the oomph.
However, each ingredient was fresh, this rendition came with shredded onions too, a healthier version of carbonara I guess.
I adore the thin and crispy batter on the hake fillets.
The shoe string fries were a lot, and really fresh, second serving of tartar sauce was a must.
Admittently, pretty expensive coffee here after those ++ charges.
I could never understand why affogato cost at least S$7 a pop in a cafe.
Nice coffee here nonetheless.
