#SGSHIOK @ Singapore Flyer Food Trail

I thought this light hearted SHIOK short clip was rather cool.

What is it about Singapore that makes you go Shiok?!

The platform set up during the Thurs night dinner.

That was the theme during the dinner party at Singapore Flyer Food Trail, organised by Singapore Tourism Board.

Nostalgic retro shopfront (nothing there on sale though)

Here starts the feast!

Whampoa Ngoh Hiang Prawn Cracker

We had a casual gethering over a hawker food fest – 8 sensational dishes and 1 retro dessert!

All came in pumped up portions like a Chinese wedding dinner :)!

Lagoon Kampong Rojak

We got to meet a lot of other bloggers across various genres.

Sin Ming Road Rong Chen Bak Kut Teh

Chinatown Ann Chin Popiah

Katong Keah Kee Fried Oysters

Bugis Street Ah Huat Hainanese Chicken Rice

Alhambra Satay Club Satay

Boon Tat Street BBQ Seafood 文达烧烤海鲜 – Ikan Bakar! (Sambal grilled stingray wrapped in banana leaf)

Click onto the link below to find out the background of each dish here.

The hawker food stalls here are some of the best in Singapore.

The hawkers were persuaded painstakingly by the organiser before setting up their stall branch here.

Ice ball

Back to the good ol’ days, ok not my days – my parents’ days.

The ‘jewels’ within the ice ball
