This was an unexpected find during our trip out to Midview City to acquire bikes.
Take note that the food court in this compound houses a pretty good Thai stall.
Oh yes, I spotted a retro interior restaurant (stand alone) buzzing with patrons.
KL Hokkien Mee (to try next time!) was highlighted on their menu board.
And then we passed by this cake shop, I saw the eye catching cake counter.
After a heavy lunch that was, and some deliberation, I decided to go ahead to try out their cake offerings.
The luscious and smooth chocolate mousse layered with a glistening chocolate glaze atop, beneath lied a crunchy layer of praline exuding intense hazelnut scent.
It was a satisfying chocolate fix, a flat white (S$5) to wash it down.
I will try out their strawberry shortcake next trip back!
This cafe is a hybrid of baking class centre where baking needs are also sold here by the pastry chefs themselves.
Quite a gem.
