Department of Caffeine (SG)

Interior

A food-serious and caffeine-focus cafe popped up in Chinatown, adding to the list of cafes dotted around Duxton Road and Craig Road.

You want the best of both worlds, this the place to be.

I managed to pop by on one weekday morning, before lunch time, and this was before their official launch.

Oh yes ladies, the barrista is hot by the way, not one but two of them (one of them is the owner)!

There were also a cook and a waitress.

Cappuccino S$5; Flourless chocolate cake S$5.50

The cappuccino resembles Strangers’ Reunion in terms of presentation and crockery used.

I love the plate that contained the flourless cake, it tasted deep enough in chocolate, came with a slight  crackling surface.

Not sure where they source their pastries from though.

Since my visit here around mid-April, they have launched more delicious sounding dishes.

Especially brunch items.

Another visit is not hard, I will be keen to have their waffles and more caffeine offerings.
