The Dispensary (SG)

The cakes & coffee order station at the entrance with old signage refurbished and in tact.

Another really inviting and rather interesting cafe added to the enclave of Tiong Bahru.

This premise was converted from a Traditional Chinese Medical Hall with most of the old elements preserved and glorified.

The cupcakes on display…

The cupcakes, full sized cakes were baked in house within the same shop.

Custom made cakes are available.

Pardon the blur shot of the shelves with drinks and retro knick-knacks for sale.

Part of the interior.

Walking from along the corridor from the order space into the dining area.

Along the corridor entering the sit-downs.

My indulgent chocolate cupcake S$3 and cappuccino S$5.

I like the very moist chocolate cupcake laced with rich chocolate butter cream,

macaron shell atop definitely won my heart, though it has lost the crunchy chewy texture, still good.

The cupcake size was a tad smaller than the nearby Kisses Bakery or Plain Vanilla.

Another side of the interior – rustic and retro indeed.

A rather captivating cafe to revisit your childhood as you will find the familiar items and toys back in 80’s and early 90’s.

If I ever get the chance to revisit Tiong Bahru, I would love to be back here to try their sliced cakes.
