Omakase Burger (SG)

Let the chef decide…indeed…

I must apologise for the lagging food posting these days…and this visit was fresh from just yesterday (Sat) noon time.

Omakase burger has been getting this ‘best burger’ claims that I’m just so doubtful of, because we haven’t got a chance to try it out at their first branch at Pasar Bella.

Finally, this more accessible second branch at Wisma Atria had us there.

Self service mode, no surplus chargers, not a bad start at all.

Our lunch – Chicken Sandwich S$14.90 (front); Applewood smoked bacon burger w/drink S$23.90 and Beef Tullow Fries top up of S$3 (back)

I actually enjoyed my crispy well flavoured chicken fillet with simple crisp vegetable to accompany and soft fluffy buns.

Always love the free flow gherkins and mustard sauce to go with them.

While he had the least complain over beef burger this time round, good smoky flavour on the bacon and crumbly patty cooked at medium. Somehow, the bacon overpower the beef taste.

I thought the beef tallow fries were alright – not served fresh enough, a little overpriced for such quality. Well, the beef dripping taste was nice in the first few bites and eventually got a little cloying down the road.

I wouldn’t mind to be back here for a quite indulging bite between the non-diet days.
