Nassim Hill Bakery (SG)

A complimentary and delicious freshly assembled bread basket. And Spicy Huevos Benedict (S$20+) – poached eggs, jalapeños guacamole, Spanish chorizo, Hollandaise sauce on white ciabatta. I absolutely love this ingenious take on the usual Eggs Benedict.

It was a hot Saturday, after running errands at ION Orchard’s post office, we decided to walk our way to try this bakery cafe/bar/restaurant which has been on my list for a long while to tick off.

The food certainly didn’t disappoint.

The in-house bakes certainly are enticing though the price is on the high side – which is a norm really in Singapore when the bakes are of ‘ang moh’ (Western) genre. For example, a loaf of chocolate bread at S$8.

Latte S$5.50+
Then, we walked over to Tanglin Mall where I could revisit the small pastries and have a cup of Italian hot chocolate. The one here is hazelnut chocolate cookie with ganache in the centre S$2.50-

2014 The Entertain App covers this awesome bakery cafe under 1-for-1 offer.

DBS card holders can make use of weekday 1-for-1 main course offer as well (as correct of July 2014).

Address: 56 Tanglin Road, Tanglin Post Office #01-03 (opposite Tanglin Mall)
