Eats in London, UK

Food hall basement of Selfridges on Oxford Street

One of the chocolate stores housed within the food hall basement of Selfridges…

And yes! You can find Pierre Herme’s macarons here too! But I didn’t buy any macaron in London this time, at all! Not sure what’s wrong with me…

Carbonara (behind); Tortellini with pancetta (front)

Cote Brasserie

Christmas lighting at St Stephen’s Place – off Oxford Street where Cote Brasserie is located

Fish Goujons (front); Steak Minute (back)

Creme caramel! (front); Chocolate pot (back)

Lola’s cupcakes

Met Lola’s cupcakes on the way to Covent Garden

Salted caramel cupcake – GBP3.50

Neal’s Yard / Covent Garden Markets

Neal’s Yard at Covent Garden

Cheeses! Got a block of Stilton and also a British made camembert…

Cambridge Satchel branch at Covent Garden…nope, didn’t buy a thing here!

Got a large plate of paella to share with a chicken skewer – about GBP9, pretty good!

Westfield shopping centre

The snowy white Christmas display inside Westfield shopping centre – a short bus ride away from London city for indoor shopping for all British high street brands

And we found Ben’s Cookies in this mall, yay! That’s my birthday breakfast, coffee and a cookie was only GBP2.20

The range of delectable freshly baked chewy cookies!

I got the coconut flavour! Very good.

And this concludes our 3 nights in London for a  chilled trip, the only sight seeing place we stopped by was Trafalgar Square and the walk through to Buckingham Palace. Nice walk.

Next trip will be in the summer and perhaps with a Michelin starred restaurant tasting.

Stay tuned.
