Washoku Goen – comforting Japenese fare at SG food courts

The fried options to add on

Comforting Japanese food fare available at food courts with a reasonable pricing and uncompromising quality – Washoku GOEN’s best-selling dishes are typically large size of Japanese Chicken Katsu Original Curry Rice and Tonkotsu Special Ramen,

Tonpei Original Curry Rice S$6.80

The homamde curry sauce was very tasty and savoury, you can still taste the freshly ground onion in the sauce. Went very well with the starchy short rice grain and crispy meat. Most enticing of all is the low price tag and big portion. Good for sharing for calorie conscious ones.

Tonkotsu Special Ramen S$7.80

One whole braised egg atop the collagen packed broth and no shying away from the quantity of ingredients. This bowl satisfied for the price tag.

Mushidori Original Curry Rice S$7.80 – tender poached chicken Hainanese style basted in Japanese curry sauce atop the comforting seasoned sushi rice bed

This would be the new Japanese local fusion dish…not a bad attempt at all and I definitely recommend two persons to share, it’s huge!

Washoku GOEN’s 7th outlet is located at B1 of Clifford Centre, NTUC food fare stall no.6 (Raffles Place mrt) with six other outlets located in food courts of Wisma Atria, Vivocity, Seletar Mall, City Square Mall, West Mall and Marina Bay Financial Center.
